Reliable solutions
thanks to optimally matched industrial gearboxes with additional components such as gear rim, pinion or foundation.
Reliable application
thanks to the robust housing of the X series industrial gearboxes, which offers maximum reliability in harsh environments.
Short delivery time
thanks to the segmentation of the gear rim: production and delivery times are reduced thanks to the smaller components.
In a rotary kiln, the heated material is stirred and mixed by rotation. To generate this movement, a single gear pinion drive is used, which is located in the cooler part of the kiln. The gear wheel is connected to a variable-speed electric motor via a gear train. A high output torque is required for the kiln to start with a high eccentric load. The speed of the material flow through the rotary kiln is proportional to the speed. Therefore, a variable speed drive is required that can control this optimally.
A robust and reliable industrial gearbox is therefore a crucial part of the drive unit. With the helical and helical-bevel gearboxes from the industrial gearbox series X We offer you the right drive solution from our modular system, even for extreme operating conditions. In combination with a wide range of accessories and options, you can reliably cover all your requirements - from the brake to the foundation frame.
Gear rims are used to drive such large, rotating systems. The segmented girth gear has bolted spring plates that are welded onto the shell of the kiln. This allows the shell to expand without distorting the ring gear.
We not only supply the industrial gearbox, but also offer you complete drive packages including segmented gear rim. We have developed a flexible concept especially for such demanding applications: the gear rims are divided into several identical segments. This concept simplifies production, transportation, assembly and maintenance.
On request, we can supply and install the basic gearbox with drive pinion, the foundation, the cladding and many other options. The pinion is mounted directly on the drive shaft or mounted separately.
Drive solutions with sprockets require a great deal of consultation. So that you can be sure of getting the best technical and economical solution, we advise and support you in all matters relating to your application: our experts will accompany you from the initial consultation through to professional installation and commissioning.
